Saraswathi received her Master’s of Public Health degree in Physical Activity and Public Health from the University of South Carolina. While in graduate school, she was involved in research in physical activity and healthy eating in a school setting, summer camp setting and churches throughout South Carolina. Since graduating, she worked as a health educator for the Healthy Harlem initiative where she promoted and taught how to live a healthier lifestyle to children and their families in Harlem, NY. She has always been passionate about working with children. Some of her past experiences in working with children include working at a Tennis Center in the sports performance department and with youth groups in Columbia, SC to help them make changes regarding physical activity and healthy eating in their communities. Growing up Saraswathi played lacrosse and tennis. She still enjoys playing tennis as well as, watching. In her free time, Saraswathi loves to try new recipes, reading, taking new fitness classes and watching all sports. Saraswathi is very excited to work with FAN4Kids and continue to share her passion of living a healthy lifestyle with children.
