Is an attorney who worked as a tax lawyer at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett and Goldman Sachs for approximately seven years. She attended NYU Law School, where she received her J.D. (cum laude) in 2002 and her L.L.M. in Tax in 2005. She graduated from the University of New Mexico (Phi Beta Kappa) with a B.A. in Political Science and a Minor in Spanish in 1993 and also completed an M.S. in Sports Nutrition from Florida State University in 1998. In addition to her interest in law and nutrition and exercise physiology, Rachel serves as a board member for the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons, does pro bono cases for an organization Immigration Equality and has served as a mentor for a student for TEAK, an organization that supports and assists bright hardworking students from underprivileged families in the NYC area.
