Emani received her Bachelor’s degree in Health Science at Lincoln University, PA and continued her education as she completed her Master’s degree in Nutrition from Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2018. During her high school and college career, Emani ran cross country and indoor and outdoor track and field!
Emani previously served as a Nutrition Educator for Harlem Children’s Zone, a Co-Teacher for Bushwick Cooks Community Chef Program and a Child Nutrition Fellow for Hunger Free America. The FAN4Kids mission perfectly aligns with Emani’s passion for working with kids and introducing them to food and fitness discussions at an early age. Emani loves working in the classroom with kids and giving them lessons they will remember for a lifetime. One of her goals in life is to equip individuals with informative, efficient and practical nutrition knowledge to improve their diets and develop healthy lifelong habits.
In her spare time, Emani likes to bake, cook, run and take Zumba and fitness classes.
As a born and raised New Yorker, Emani Parsons truly looks forward to serving as a FAN4Kids instructor. She hopes to learn a lot from the organization and make an impact on the students and schools that she serves.
