Ann Gregg Mc Iver, Chairwoman, has been the Executive Director of the Morningside Area Alliance (MAA), an alliance of seventeen of the major institutions on Morningside Heights including Columbia University, Teacher College, Cathedral of St. John the Divine, St Luke's Hospital since 1996. During her tenure, the Alliance was responsible for a number of community initiatives: revitalization of the Morningside Park, Development of Job Connection- a federally funded workforce program, and the Morningside Alliance Youth Center for after school and summer camp programs for the youth of NYCHA General Grant Houses. The recent Bridge to Excellence Program provides support to local public schools. A comprehensive STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) School partnership with Public School District Five in Harlem has grown with two major events: "SUPER SATURDAY", a large Science Expo of hands-on science activities and READ OUT LOUD, a major literacy event. In her earlier career, Ms Mc Iver served as Deputy Commissioner of the NYC Medicaid Home Cares system for eight years, and was professor of English at CUNY's Medgar Evers College for an eight year period.

His primary responsibilities include working to proactively advocate Allstate's interests in state legislative and regulatory venues, serving as Allstate's New York Region's primary liaison with the New York State Insurance Department and the New York State Legislature. Carol Linn, Secretary, was at Brooklyn Public Library (BPL) for over 25 years where she served in a large variety of roles. Beginning as a librarian, Carol soon joined the Information Technology Department, becoming assistant director and managed the initiative that installed over 2,000 PCs in over 59 facilities throughout the library system. As part of that project she created the training program for both the staff and the general public. She continued to manage the implementation of other new technologies, ensuring that they enhanced the library experience for the public. As Coordinator of Special Projects, Carol worked closely with BPL's executive directors to design new buildings and renovate old ones in addition to addressing major policy issues on such topics as censorship and Internet access. She worked on a New York State Commission that created a new vision of library service for the 21st Century and planned a state-of- the-art visual and performing arts library. She recently retired from BPL. Carol received an MA in Library Science from the University of Chicago and a BA in art history from Bryn Mawr College and is a member of the American Library Association.

Alan Cohen was recently named Principal at Portledge Elementary School in Locust Valley, NY. Mr. Cohen has 34 years of educational experience, having filled many roles as a teacher and administrator for the New York City Department of Education. He is currently a Network Leader providing support and supervision for principals in 32 New York City schools and prior to that completed seven years as principal of P.S. 69 in the Bronx. In the past he has had various responsibilities in the New York City system, including teaching, mentoring teachers and aspiring principals, high school admissions, and supervising student support services. He also implemented a Reggio Emilia inspired early childhood program and spent time in Italy studying as a member of the North American Reggio Emilia Alliance and International Association Friends of Reggio Children. He received his bachelor's degree from Brooklyn College and holds a master's of Science, Special Education from New York University. He is a Cahn Fellow at Columbia University. Recently, he has spent his summers as a group leader at The Principal's Center Summer Institute of the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Mr. Cohen also serves as an advisory board member at The Principal's Center. He is also the recipient of the 2007 Time Warner Principals of Excellence Award and the 2006 Outstanding Educator of the Year Award from Education Update.

Dr. Vangeepuram is a pediatrician at The Mount Sinai Medical Center and a child health researcher at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She completed a combined BS/MD program at Stevens Institute of Technology and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2001 and completed her pediatrics residency at the Children's Hospital of New York, Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in 2004. She then completed a Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and National Institutes of Health (NIH) funded fellowship in general academic pediatrics and environmental paediatrics in 2008. As a part of this fellowship, she completed a Masters in Public Health and was inducted into the Delta Omega Honor Society in Public Health in 2010. She is currently licensed to practice pediatrics in New York State and certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Academic Pediatrics Association. She also serves on many committees including the East Harlem Child Health Committee, the Strategic Alliance for Health, the IMPACT Diabetes Center and the NICHQ Childhood Obesity Action Network. She currently provides clinical care for pediatric patients and helps train pediatric residents at Mount Sinai. In addition she is funded by the American Academy of Pediatrics, Empire Clinical Research Investigator Program (New York State), and a Mount Sinai Community Engaged Research Project grant to do research in the areas of childhood asthma and obesity, diet, physical activity, health disparities and community based health interventions for children and adolescents. She has presented her research findings at many regional and national pediatric research meetings and has published her work in peer reviewed journals.
